Netizens have expressed their admiration for a man who returned the excess cash dispensed by an ATM.
In a Facebook post, TJ Tenedero shared that he was shocked to see that instead of P900, LandBank’s ATM dispensed P4,500. He said he decided to report and return it to the bank and he found out that he was not the only one who had this experience.
Hahaha,” he said. “PS. As of the moment may napasok pang may sobrang pera na inilabas ng atm.
In the comments section, some netizens explained that a teller might have mistakenly loaded P1,000 bills in the cassette meant for P100 bills so instead of getting one P500 bill and four P100 bills, he received one P500 bill and four P1,000.
They lauded TJ for being honest and giving back the money that was not his.
Sana maging government official siya one day.
“As a bank employee, i commend him for reporting the incident pero at the same time i feel bad para sa employee na nagload ng atm.
