Despite not being able to push through with their original reception plan after being stuck on the road due to flooding brought about by Typhoon Paeng, a newly-wed couple managed to turn their reception into a memorable one, both for themselves and for their guests.

In a Facebook post, Eddieson Sauqillo of DML Photography shared that from the couple’s wedding ceremony held at the Imus Cathedral, they were supposed to go to Josephine’s Water camp in Kawit, Cavite, but Typhoon Paeng already flooded the roads, causing them to be stuck.

After some time, the couple eventually realized that some of their guests have already left.

This was when the bride decided to take her remaining guests to a fast food restaurant.

Eddieson added that despite what happened, the bride remained in good spirits and was even the one who served food for some guests, including the photographers.

SI BRIDE PA MISMO and Nag SERVE Samin Ng FOOD SA MCDO,” he said.

Netizens also commended the bride for still wearing the biggest smile despite the sudden changes in her dream wedding.

Best wishes to the newly-wed couple! Congratulations!
