Young Girl Singlehandedly Took On The Role As Parent To Her Siblings After Their Mother Left Them

1 Mins read

No one should be allowed to take one’s childhood as this means depriving them of their innocence and happiness.

Sadly, not all children in the world are born with equal opportunities in life.

This is what happened to a girl in China who became both a father and a mother to her two brothers at a very young age.

Ten-year-old girl Xiao Ying and her siblings were left to fend for themselves after their father passed away and their mother left them soon afterwards.

Eversince, Xiao took on the responsibility as her brother’s parents even though they were left in the care of her uncle.

Xiao made sure that her brothers are properly taken care of everyday , and that they live a normal life despite having no parent who should be looking after them.

Apart from her daily chores, Xiao also goes to school with her brothers and is actually an honor student. She has no intention of giving up her dreams of finishing her education and find a decent job.

All these she has been doing for her family, or what’s left of it.

At one point, her uncle suggested that her siblings be put up for adoption but she vehemently resisted.

Apparently, she doesn’t want to part ways with her brothers and promised to keep them together even if it means sacrificing her own happiness.

May they have a brighter future and be blessed with good health.
